Meat Market Manager

Duties:

-Directs and participates in all Meat Market, Pier 14, and Chopping Block activities, including, but not limited to receiving, preparing, displaying, storing, and ordering product.

-Plans and monitors production to control shrink and promote sales.

-Prepares weekly work schedule for department associates and recommends personnel actions.

-Safely operates power saw, box cutter, meat cutting knife, cuber, slicer, wrapper, and all cleaning equipment.

-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
- Wrap food items according to established standards and procedures
- Ensure that all food items are properly sealed and labeled
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wrapping station
- Assist in stocking and replenishing supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food products
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate wrapping of food orders

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
